Publicdomainregistry.com – a US company based in India in business with Phishers & Spammers

Well, what a “coincidence”!

After I sent an email to compliance@publicdomainregistry.com, the contact address of “Public Domain Registry”, I was informed by my email hoster that my account was attacked by unknown forces trying to hack it.

This is not just annoying but quite unusual since it was a boring email account that was only of interest for boring spammers like “Ruby Palace”. But hey, after I swore to PDR that I was going to be their personal pain in the ass until they end their business relationship with Ruby’s fucking gambling Palace all of a sudden that boring email is under attack?

However, let’s take a closer look at PDR:

PDR

PDR’s registry information thru whois

Well, it seems that “PDR Ltd.” is a US company from Beaverton, Oregon. But hey, what’s the registrant’s name? Is it Ronald McDonald? Is it Hillary Obama or George W. Bush III. ?

No! It is Mr. “Domain Manager”!

And guess what? He lives at a nice place in Beaverton with a lot of parking space!

9450 SW Gemini Dr

PDR’s address and “building”: 9450 SW Gemini Dr. #48732 Beaverton/Oregon

Maybe it’s a very poor company that resides in a tent that is just set up from 9 to 5 on Mondays to Fridays and can’t afford even a wooden hut. The US are in a recession as we all know. This may also explain why Mr. Manager’s phone number (+1.2013775952) has a different area code than his fax number (+1.3202105146). Since it is no cell phone number the landline must be sort of “mobile” …

Under these circumstances it is understandable that Mr. “Domain Manager” is in close business with that cheap Indian company “Directiplex”. I am sure “Directiplex” has a representative building in Mumbai though their address seems to be difficult to find following the detailed description by themselves:

PDR Ltd.'s partner Directiplex, seated "Next to Andheri Subway" in Mumbai/India.

PDR Ltd.’s partner Directiplex, seated “Next to Andheri Subway” in Mumbai/India.

Well, next time I am in Mumbai, I will surely pay Directiplex a visit and go “next to Andheri Subway”, finding the Old Nagardas Road in Andheri (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra 40006.

You know, somehow I don’t have a good feeling when I get in contact with a company that doesn’t disclose its employees nor their bosses name. I mean, just imagine you want to get in business with them and all contact persons have the name “Domain Manager” or “Mr. and Mrs. Doe” – even “Mr. Smith” sounds more serious that no name at all.

And then you see that their company building is somewhere in the woods on plain grass – but with a lot of space for parking – and the unknown American CEO delegates all work to an Indian company that also doesn’t seem to have people with real names. (Maybe they just let androids do the work?)

And then you discover that this company has customers like “Ruby Palace”, a famous SPAMMER that is working with software for gambling you have to download and install from unknown sources (Watch out for phishing attacks and trojan horses!) …

Would you really have a good feeling paying even one Dollar to that kind of company?

Publicdomainregistry.com – A safe haven for spammers and phishers like Ruby Palace

Do you know the US company “Public Domain Registry” from Beaverton/Oregon?

You should – it’s a company working together with the internet mob!

But perhaps you heard of “Ruby Palace”, the famous gambling spammer that is terrorizing your email account with its shit? Ruby is setting up domains all the time – interestingly and exclusively through the registrar “Public Domain Registry Ltd.”.

Ruby Palace a criminal organization and a pain in your ass

You get Ruby’s spam all the time and when you complain about being spammed their registrar PDR Ltd. is naturally shutting down the advertised site – and at the same moment Ruby has set up a new site and informs you in its next spam email. Again through “publicdomainregistry.com”.

“Public Domain Registry” Ltd. loves to to business with the internet mob.

“Public Domain Registry” is a registrar to ICANN and sells also Australian .au domains. Since there are no anti-spam laws in India (That country which avoids protecting women and lets rape them by groups of men.) this company leaves the work to an Indian firm named “Directiplex” so it is free to make business with criminals – for example with the gambling mob like “Ruby Palace”.

And Ruby tries to get you to their site(s) through their spam and offers you some free software and even $200 so that you can gamble with them. Of course, you never win (but lose a lot of money) but in return you got some nice gambling-software from unknown sources. On your own PC. And of course you don’t know what this software does to your operating system without your knowledge. Ever heard of “malware”, “trojan horses” and “phishing”?

PDR is closely connected with the gambling and phishing mob of the internet:

It is absolutely not accidental that the spam and phishing group “Ruby Palace” has registered ALL their spam domains thru publicdomainregistry.com.

Usually criminals use stolen credit cards to set up internet domains so that the registrar not only deletes those domains but also keeps an eye on those criminals – of course, otherwise they lose money.

But PDR obviously is still the preferred registrar for Ruby’s fucking spam and phishing Palace. How come?

Well, maybe because they don’t use stolen credit cards but real ones?
